In this Privacy Policy, “our” and “we” means Great American Specialty & Affinity Limited trading as Lease & Loan Insurance Services and our group or affiliated companies. Great American Specialty & Affinity Limited is a member of Great American Insurance Group, a group of highly rated insurance providers.

We are committed to respecting your right to privacy and we comply with the principles of applicable data protection laws, including the UK Data Protection Act and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“the applicable data protection legislation”).

To do so please send us a written request, at the address in section 9 below, stating what information you believe needs correcting.  We will investigate and if we agree, we will correct our records. Where we do not agree, you have the right to file with us a written statement of dispute, which we will be dealt with in accordance with law.

8. How long we retain your information

We will retain your information as required by law for as long as you have a relationship with us (or with any agent through which we facilitate insurance) wherein you are the insured or receive a benefit.  After this period ends, we will keep it where we may need it for our legitimate business purposes, such as to respond to queries or complaints, or responding to requests from regulators.
